Congenital cytomegalovirus infection is the most common congenital infection, occurs in 0.6-5% of newborns worldwide, and considered leading non-genetic cause sensorineural hearing loss children. Most with a manifest form disease develop psychomotor cognitive disorders, about half them visual impairment. The purpose publication: to present clinical case severe period multisystem manifestations (hemorrhagic syndrome, encephalitis, myocarditis, hepatitis, splenomegaly) follow-up data at age 1 year. Conclusion. this example demonstrates diagnostic therapeutic difficulties acute significant list diseases resulting from infection. Based on information presented, importance necessity close attention results serological study pregnant women during entire gestation an assessment antibody titer dynamics are updated. Specific antiviral therapy, prescribed basis life-threatening course disease, made it possible achieve positive period, eradicate virus prevent outcomes, including death.
